Newsprint Drawings
The main drawback of using newsprint for drawing is that it fades easily when exposed to sunlight for a length of time. The charcoal itself doesn’t fade or discolor, just the paper. I suppose I can tell myself that’s a feature, not a failure, especially since I scan the drawings that I think are worth keeping and often digitally manipulate and enhance them for web use or for digital prints.
