Scanner Influence
The scanner I use to scan drawings is very stubborn about wanting to use “Auto Detect” when scanning a color image. This can create unexpected cropping of images that I scan, such as the portrait below. I didn’t have time to argue, so I convinced myself that the extreme cropping is a good thing.
