Drawing Rescue

During the most recent Tuesday night drawing session I was pretty disappointed in how my drawings were looking and really wanted to stop drawing. The background music wasn’t helping any. I had unintentionally left my iPhone at home that I usually use to select Apple Music playlists for background inspiration. The studio iPod seemed to have just classical music available and even though I like classical music, it was making me, and probably some other artists, drowsy. I told the other Tuesday Night Drawing organizer that I’d be back in 30 minutes, then drove home to get my iPhone. When I returned I played an oldies playlist. My drawing didn’t really improve but my attitude did. I decided to keep drawing and try to rescue some of the drawings the next day by adding more shading, making some lines stronger, and changing a few lines. I was using good quality white paper instead of newsprint. A rescue effort is better than wasting good paper.

A tattoo or two can sometimes make a drawing more interesting.
