Belated Resolution
New Year resolution: occasionally draw people wearing clothes. It’s less stressful than drawing nudes. The folds and wrinkles of clothing can be very inaccurate without looking inaccurate. Clothes can be visually interesting and present different drawing challenges of detail and texture.
An Internet image search for “vintage photographs” found hundreds of images from which to choose. After scanning my charcoal drawing I used Photoshop to add the background texture and the sepia tone color effect.
