ght Drawing sessions on Zoom. These weekly sessions made the year go by faster and kept us in close touch with each other, and with our favorite models who did such a great job.
Whether drawing in person or not, sometimes a drawing looks pretty accurate, but some part of it just doesn’t measure up. If you’re an experienced, professional artist you can sometimes salvage that drawing by using top-secret professional tips and tricks. For example, in the drawing below I wasn’t satisfied with the face. Solution — crop the drawing to eliminate the flawed part, then title the piece something that sounds like that was your plan all along.

During this ten minute portrait pose I drew the lightest possible sketch, then added dark lines and dark shading a week later.
